Duck Drinkers
Ducks love water. And it is gorgeous to watch ducks in water play and splash about. But not in the waterer in the duck enclosure!
A damp duck house is messy and smelly. And that is just what you’ll get with a poorly-designed duck drinker. Ducks are also notorious for pooing in their water and filling it with feed, spreading disease.
The best duck waterer solves both of these problems. For a no-spill, no-mess, poo-free waterer, you can rely on Dine a Chook.
Why are Dine a Chook Duck Waterers different?
It is our goal to make keeping backyard poultry easier for poultry keepers everywhere. And that includes ducks!
All of our Duck Waterers are designed with ducks in mind, to solve the common problems of duck drinkers.
- There is no water bowl or cup for ducks to splash
- Drip-free Nipple Outlets prevent spillage and keep the duck enclosure dry
- The Nipple Outlet design and sealed water reservoir prevent contamination with dirt, feed and faeces
- The Automatic Nipples provide water on-demand
For a clean, dry duck enclosure, you can rely on Dine a Chook. Our Duck Waterers are Australian Made and built to last.
Dine a Chook Duck Waterers:
- Automatic Duck Waterers attach to mains water and are self-filling, so you never have to refill a waterer again!
- 2 L Duck Waterers are perfect for tiny coops
- 20 L Drum Drinkers for Ducks hold enough water to last for days
- 20 L Dual Outlet Drum Drinkers with Lubing Cups and Nipples are perfect for mixed poultry flocks
Ducks can use Lubing Cup drinkers, but we recommend Nipple outlets for waterfowl. Keep in mind that most duck breeds and other waterfowl also need a large bucket, at minimum, to dunk their heads. This is important for health and digestion. But at least the Drinker can stay in the coop, keeping it dry, while the messy bucket can go outside where splashes don't matter!
