Dine-A-Chook is a trading name of Four Chickens Pty Ltd, an Australian family-owned business based in Townsville, Queensland. We manufacture and sell chicken feeders, drinkers, and poultry supplies. When you use our website or buy from us, you're agreeing to these terms.
Using Our Website
You're welcome to browse our website, read our blog, and use our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. That includes sharing our articles with friends or on social media, as long as you credit Dine-A-Chook and link back to the original.
Please don't copy, modify, or use our content (including images, text, and videos) for commercial purposes without our permission. All our content is protected by copyright.
Placing an Order
When you place an order and receive a confirmation email, that's a contract between us. You're confirming that the details you've provided (name, address, payment) are accurate and that you're authorised to use the payment method.
We do our best to keep stock levels and pricing accurate, but occasionally we may need to cancel an order due to stock issues, payment problems, or pricing errors. If that happens, we'll contact you straight away and offer a full refund.
Need to change or cancel an order? Please contact us as soon as possible. We ship quickly, so we can't guarantee changes once an order is placed, but we'll do our best to help.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, PayPal, bank transfer, and Afterpay. All transactions are processed securely.
For international orders, prices are in AUD and don't include any customs duties or import taxes your country may charge. These are your responsibility.
Shipping
Most orders ship the next business day after payment. We use Australia Post, Startrack, and other reliable carriers depending on your location and order size.
You'll receive a tracking number once your order ships. Delivery times vary by location and carrier, but if something seems wrong, let us know and we'll help track it down.
Returns & Refunds
Changed your mind? No worries. You can return unused items in original packaging within 30 days for a refund. Just contact us first to arrange the return.
If something arrives damaged, faulty, or isn't what you ordered, that's on us. We'll cover return shipping and make it right.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You're entitled to a replacement or refund for major failures, and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Warranty
We stand behind our products. All Dine-A-Chook products come with a manufacturer's warranty against defects:
- Feeders and Drinkers: 3 years
- Lubing Cups and Nipples: 12 months
- Heat Plates: 12 months
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use. It doesn't cover damage from rodents, accidents, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
Privacy & Your Information
When you shop with us or sign up to our mailing list, we collect information like your name, email, and address. We use this to process your orders, send you updates, and improve our service.
We handle your information in accordance with Australian privacy law and never sell it to third parties. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime.
Emails & Marketing
If you subscribe to our mailing list, you'll receive chicken-keeping tips, product updates, and occasional special offers. We try to keep it useful, not spammy.

Product Information & Advice
We do our best to provide accurate product descriptions, images, and advice on our website and blog. However, this information is general in nature and shouldn't replace expert advice for your specific situation.
Every chicken setup is different, so if you're unsure whether a product is right for you, feel free to ask us before you buy.
Promotions & Coupon Codes
Only one coupon code can be used per order. Promotional offers may have specific terms and expiry dates, which we'll make clear at the time.

We want every customer to be happy. If you have a problem with an order or product, please contact us first and give us a chance to fix it. Most issues can be resolved quickly.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
