How to Install Your Automatic Mains Pressure Drinker - Twin Cup
Our Dine a Chook system has been designed for simplicity. You don’t need to be a plumbing expert to get this system up and running. With a quality garden hose and a bit of shade, follow these straightforward instructions, and your Automatic Chicken Waterer will be operational in no time.
- Connect the outlet piping supplied to the base of the water tank.
- Fit the Lubing Cups.
- Adjust the mounting height to ensure it's accessible to your smallest bird.
- Attach the nylon inlet valve and secure the garden hose with the stainless steel clamp.
Important: Monitor the system initially to ensure all birds can access the water. Adjust as necessary for your smallest bird.

How is your order shipped?
All Dine A Chook orders are sent using Australia Post unless otherwise stated. All orders require a signature at the time of delivery unless you provide an authority to leave. We deliver to Residential and Business addresses, PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers.
Insurance
Every Dine A Chook delivery is completely insured for the total value of the items dispatched and insurance coverage includes loss and damage during transit. In the unlikely event you receive a broken item, contact our office via the contact us page within 3 working days of signing for the goods so we can arrange for a replacement.

Q. Will the tank deteriorate in the sun?
A. You should never put a poultry feeder in direct sunlight. The main reason is that poultry need fresh, cool water. So you should position your tank in the shade for this reason
Q. How does the tank work?
A. The horizontal ball valve refills the tank as the water drains, similar to a toilet cistern. The process is automatic.
Q. Can I connect to the mains or only use a hose?
A. You can connect to a tap, the mains or use a garden hose.
Q. Does the tank develop algae?
A. The tank is designed to block out UV so as to inhibit the growth of algae.
Q. Do chickens need to press down on the float in the Drinker Cup?
A. No. Our upgraded floats automatically fill the Lubing Cup with water.
