What’s in the bag
Dried mealworms, and only dried mealworms. No preservatives, no additives, no coating. The mealworms are raised on a vegetarian, GMO-free diet and dried straight after harvest.

How many dried mealworms should I give my chickens a day?
There’s no set dose. A small handful for the flock, once a day, is how most people do it: scattered on the ground so every bird gets a share, or from your hand if you’re taming them. They’re a treat alongside layer feed, so common sense rather than a measuring cup.
Can you rehydrate dried mealworms?
Yes. Soak a handful in warm water for 10 to 30 minutes and they plump back up, which some birds prefer and which is a good trick for fussy or very young chooks. My young chooks won’t eat dried mealworms. Is that normal?
Very. Pullets and chicks that have never seen one don’t know it’s food. Hand-feed a few, drop some in front of the boldest bird, or soak them first. As one customer put it: “Girls are only young and didn’t know what to do with them, but caught on quickly once one tried it.”
Can ducks, wild birds, reptiles and fish eat dried mealworms?
Yes. Dried mealworms are a natural food for ducks and geese, turkeys, quail, guinea fowl, peafowl, pheasants, wild birds, lizards, turtles and pond fish. There’s nothing added to the bag, so it’s the same product whatever you’re feeding.
Are dried mealworms dead?
Yes. They’re mealworm larvae that have been dried straight after harvest, so they keep without refrigeration, don’t need feeding and don’t escape.
How should I store dried mealworms?
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Reseal the bag after each use.
