How to use Coopex with a manual sprayer
Mix Coopex powder with water to the recommended dilution rate:
For severe infestations or initial treatment: dissolve 25 g in 2.5 L of water
For preventative use: dissolve 25 g in 5 L of water
Add the mixture to the Solo 408 sprayer. Pump to prime and spray surfaces and equipment.
In the chicken coop, remove bedding, animals, feeders and drinkers prior to treating. Take care to spray into cracks and crevices where mites and lice hide. Allow insecticide to dry completely before replacing bedding etc. and allowing animals access.
The sprayer should be cleaned and allowed to dry after use. Run fresh water through the sprayer wand and nozzle to clean.
Wear appropriate PPE and always follow product instructions.
1 L of Coopex mixture will treat up to 40 m2 when applied using a Solo 408 manual sprayer.
Permethrin, the active ingredient in Coopex, is exceptionally toxic to cats. It is also toxic to fish and aquatic life. It should not be used on soil, near waterways or where rain may fall.
