Where do you put a chicken feeder?

This will depend on if you have a large chicken run or a small enclosure. If you have a small coop then it is ideally placed either outside the door or just inside the door. To maximise the freshness of chicken feed you should put the feeder out of the sun and elements. In a large chicken run, depending on the size of the flock. you may put one feeder near the coop and another on the cage wire of the run in a shady position.
