* * We engineer Dine A Chook to save you money by stopping feed waste. If you use pellet and mash mix then you shall get the most out of your feeder. If you use a scratch mix or homemade scrap mix, you encourage the birds to feed selectively. In doing so, you defeat the purpose of the waste-reducing feeder.

Can chickens see the colour red?
Scientific studies have shown that Chickens may, in fact, see colour better than humans. As a matter of interest, Dr. Joseph C. Corbo of Washington University School of Medicine. St. Louis was the study author researching what colours chickens may see, and it concluded that "the chicken retina greatly exceeds that seen in most other retinas and certainly that in most mammalian retinas." In short, chickens see red. Also, many backyard chicken keeper forums swear that hens are attracted to red.
So based on our research, we developed the Dine A Chook Red Base Chicken feeder.
You can find cheaper cage mounted poultry feeders on the market. But none come close to genuine Dine A Chook Quality. To date, more than 50,000 customers in Australia, New Zealand and the UK have joined the Dine A Chook family. We're looking forward to you also becoming part of our family.
