The Tefen Female Branch T Connector – 8 mm x ¼" BSPT is a specialty fitting used to branch off a main hydration line while continuing uninterrupted water flow. It is ideal for poultry drinker systems using Dine-A-Chook Cage Mount Lubing Cup or Nipple outlets.
Perfect for Inline Cup Integration
This connector screws directly onto the back of the Dine-A-Chook Cage/Surface Mount fittings, allowing water to flow to a cup or nipple while maintaining the 8 mm hose line for additional outlets. It’s essential for expanding hydration lines across larger coops or brooder setups.
Leak-Free, Modular Assembly
Thread the fitting onto the Cage Mount with plumber’s tape, then push and tighten the 8 mm tubing into each barb for a secure fit. Always allow at least 5x OD of straight tube before and after each connection for proper alignment.

Yes, it’s ideal for expanding poultry watering systems. Simply add more T-Connectors in sequence to run additional Lubing Cups or Nipples along the line.
Is it compatible with both pressure and gravity-fed systems?
Yes, it suits both. Just remember: in gravity-fed systems, keep the water level no more than 35 cm above the drinker outlet to avoid overflow or malfunction of the Lubing Cup or Nipple.
Any tips for designing a custom poultry hydration system?
Plan the layout so that tubing runs are short and direct. Use branch connectors strategically near each chicken access point. Test for leaks at each connection, and always support tubing to reduce strain on fittings.
