Designed to fit directly into the 2 L and 4 L Dine-A-Chook Cannisters, this elbow simplifies hose routing and allows a neat, secure setup in both pressure and gravity-fed drinker systems.
Custom Fit for Dine-A-Chook Systems
Use this elbow to streamline water delivery in brooder setups or automated hydration systems. It screws directly into cannisters or can be adapted to Lubing Header Tanks using a BSPT Pipe Bushing – 1/2" x 1/8" (Cat. No. 12011008028), allowing for seamless integration with other Tefen or Lubing components.
Quick and Leak-Free Assembly
Slide 8 mm hose onto the barb and tighten the nut for a watertight grip—no clamps required. Always apply thread tape to the male thread before installing into a tank or adapter for best results.

This elbow is commonly used in backyard chicken drinker systems where a right-angle connection is needed—such as when connecting to the base of Dine-A-Chook 2 L or 4 L cannisters or Lubing Header Tanks with a reducer bushing.
Does it suit both pressure and gravity-fed systems?
Yes, this part is compatible with both system types. It is used in automatic mains-pressure setups and manual gravity-fed systems alike. Always ensure that your water source does not exceed 35 cm above Lubing Cups or Nipples to prevent overfilling in gravity setups.
Is thread tape required?
Yes, for reliable sealing on the 1/8" BSPT thread, apply thread tape before installing into cannisters or bushings.
How does it connect to tubing?
Simply push the 8 mm Dine-A-Chook hose over the barb and hand-tighten the integrated locking nut. Ensure the hose is straight for 5x OD before and after the fitting for best alignment.
