Absolutely. This tee is compatible with gravity-fed systems, provided the water source does not exceed a height of 35 cm above the Lubing Cup or Nipple. This avoids overpressure that can cause leaks or overflow.
Will this work with mains pressure systems?
Yes. The barbed connections hold tight under standard mains pressure when used with 8 mm tubing. Always ensure tubing is properly seated and secure with hose clamps if needed.
Do I need any other fittings?
This fitting can be used directly in ⅛" threaded ports. If connecting to ½" or ¾" drum outlets or header tanks, use the appropriate BSPT reducer bush. We recommend using plumber’s thread tape to prevent leaks at the thread.
