DIY Chicken Waterer
Professional-grade fittings and components for building custom poultry watering systems. We've put together a curated range of Tefen fittings and Lubing components specifically for poultry applications - a combination you won't find anywhere else in Australia.
Tefen Fittings
Tefen is an Israeli manufacturer of precision-engineered nylon fittings trusted in commercial agriculture worldwide. We've selected the specific sizes and configurations that work with poultry watering systems, so you're not hunting through industrial catalogues trying to find what fits.
- Male and female BSPT connectors (⅛", ¼", ½")
- Elbows, branch tees, and inline connectors
- Quick-release plugs and sockets
- Inline shut-off valves
- Reducing nipples and pipe bushings
Lubing Components
German-made Lubing cups are the industry standard for poultry hydration. We supply genuine Lubing parts including replacement O-rings and the mains-pressure header tank system with mounting bracket.
Hose and Accessories
Purpose-made 8mm poultry water hose sold by the metre or in 5m and 10m rolls. Plus inline water filters, barbed connectors, and hose fittings to complete your system.
Who Is This For?
This range is for poultry keepers who want to build or extend a custom watering system using commercial-grade components. Whether you're fitting out a new shed, adding drinking points to an existing setup, or replacing worn fittings, you'll find the right parts here.
Need Help?
Not sure which fittings you need? Give us a call on 1800 103 326 during business hours. If you can describe your setup or send us a photo, we can recommend the right components.
Installation Tip: Our Nylon Hose is Tight-Fitting by Design
The 8mm hose we supply is industrial-grade nylon tubing - not the softer PE (polyethylene) tubing you'll find elsewhere. It's more rigid, UV-stabilised, and built to last years in outdoor conditions. The trade-off? It's tight to push onto barbed Tefen fittings.
To make installation easier: Dip the end of the hose in hot water for 30-60 seconds to soften it. It will slide onto the barb much more easily while warm.
We chose this tubing because it lasts. Cheaper, softer tubing is easier to install but degrades faster in the sun. Once your nylon hose is fitted, it's on for good.
